ABOUT ME

“Let it hurt. Let it bleed.
Let it heal. Let it go.”

– Nikita Gill

I was born and raised in El Salvador, Central America. Circumstances brought me to the United States at a very young age. At the age of 6, I was separated from my mother, and went to live with my father and his wife. My childhood was challenging but now I see that life was preparing me for the upcoming years...

I became a teenager and things did not get any better, I was living a very difficult situation with my father so decided to put a stop to the “difficult things” by running away. In pursuit of a better life, I ended up in a violent relationship, became pregnant and lived in that situation for a few years. When I found the courage to leave, and thought that I could start a new life, my son was taken from me by his father and missed him dearly for over ten years. Fortunately, I was able to reconnect and live with my son again after many years.

Later in life, I married someone who seemed genuine, but something was missing. We both realized that we were not meant for each other, so we got divorced. We wasted almost two decades hoping that the relationship “will get better with time”. Divorce was hard but at the end it was the best decision for the both of us. Through all these circumstances, I was certain

that the rain was going to stop at some point, and I was going to be able to see the rainbow.  I told myself “everything happens for a reason.”

Just because your past did not turn out like you wanted it to, it does not mean your future can’t be better than you ever imagined.

After an amazing personal healing experience during a Reiki session that changed my life, I wanted others to experience that feeling so I got my certification as a Reiki practitioner. This is a tool, that in some cases, I apply in my coaching sessions. This opened new doors to promote healing, so I obtained my Life Coach Certification in 2012, to learn more and continue to help people that are not just going through divorce, but also need to be heard, healed and guided to discover their true potential.

Life prepares us to learn things that we can teach others. As a Reiki practitioner, I learned that we can use the energy in our own bodies to heal ourselves physically, emotionally, and spiritually. As a coach, I know that words of hope help people see the possibilities that life has to offer when you get to see the "good side of things." Thanks to everything I lived, now I can understand, sympathize, guide and empower my clients.

There is hope! Life is wonderful! It is up to you how to live it from now on
and remember,
“When One Door Closes, Another One Opens.”
